Soccer All Summer!
Although DYSA does not run a soccer camp program, there are many half-day, full-day, and residential camp opportunities available for DYSA players this summer.
Please contact the camp providers directly with any questions. Camp signup deadlines and camp dates are rapidly approaching, so act quickly if you are thinking of taking advantage of a camp opportunity for your young players this summer.

A soccer camp for boys and girls ages 6-10 is once again offered this summer. The camp will run June 28th – July 1st (Wed – Sat), 8am-11am each day at the Lower Alden Fields. Emphasis on the camp will be skill development and the fun of soccer. Camp coordinators will be Matthew Cushing and Mike Coven who bring impressive soccer resumes to the camp. Coach Cushing is currently the men’s head soccer coach at Wheaton College, where he has led the Lions to their most wins in school history. Mike Coven finishes his 36th year as men’s head soccer at Brandeis University. Coach Coven has brought Brandeis University a Division 3 National and an ECAC Championship. We are truly fortunate to be able to bring such talent to Duxbury to instruct our youth. Counselors include many local college stars. Space in this camp is limited. Fee for this program is $85.

Shalrie Joseph Soccer Academy/Clinics
"The clinic is part of the Shalrie Joseph Soccer Academy, which is directed by Shalrie Joseph. Shalrie Joseph has been a standout MLS player for the last 6 years- including being voted one of the top 11 players in the whole league 3 times. This year Shalrie is launching his own soccer academy which will run night clinics mainly in the Boston area, but the week of July 13-17 from 530-730pm there will be a clinic at the Healey Complex in Middleboro. The Middleboro clinic is open to boys and girls ages 7-14 of all ability levels. The focus of the clinic will be on mastering the basic fundamentals- passing, dribbling, receiving, shooting, etc. Shalrie has designed a training program based on drills he still practices daily- but would benefit even the most novice player. Shalrie is very good with young players and I think that he will be able to teach them some new skills while having fun. Shalrie, who will be at the majority of all sessions, has put together a staff of current and former collegiate and professional players to help coach his academy program."
